• What is spray tanning?

Spray tanning is a cosmetic treatment where a fine mist of sunless tanning solution (usually containing DHA) is sprayed onto the skin to create a temporary tan.

  • Is spray tanning safe?

Yes, spray tanning is generally safe when applied externally. DHA, the active ingredient, is FDA-approved for external use.

  • Can I get a spray tan if I’m pregnant?

It’s best to consult your doctor. While DHA is considered safe externally, some recommend avoiding spray tans during the first trimester.

  • How long does a spray tan last?

Typically 5–10 days, depending on skin type, aftercare, and how fast your skin naturally exfoliates.

  • Will a spray tan make me look orange?

Not if done correctly. High-quality products and proper application prevent orange tones. Choosing the right shade for your skin tone is key.

  • How should I prepare for my spray tan?

Exfoliate 24 hours before, shave/wax ahead of time, and avoid applying lotions, deodorant, or makeup the day of the tan.

  • What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, dark clothing is best to avoid rubbing off the tan while it’s developing. Avoid tight bras, leggings, or anything that may cause streaks.

  • Should I shave or wax before or after my spray tan?

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid irritation or uneven results.

  • Will I have to be nude during the spray tan?

It’s entirely up to you. Many people wear disposable underwear, swimsuits, or go nude to avoid tan lines.

  • How long does the spray tan take to apply?

The spraying itself takes about 10–15 minutes; the whole appointment may be around 20–30 minutes.

  • Will the tan stain my clothes or sheets?

Some bronzer may transfer before your first shower. Use dark, loose clothing and old sheets to minimize staining.

  • Can I work out or sweat after my spray tan?

Avoid sweating or water exposure for at least 8–12 hours. It can cause streaking if done too soon.

  • How do I make my spray tan last longer?

Moisturize daily, avoid exfoliating, and use gentle, sulfate-free body washes.

  • How much space do you need to setup?

All we need is a small area, about 4ftx5ft and an outlet. We always carry an extension cord just in case.
